Art Journal with the Full Moon in Aquarius August 2025: Themes and Prompts for August 4-10, 2025
In this post, I share a summary of the moon for the week of August 4-10, 2025 as it moves through the zodiac and interacts with the planets. I also talk about working with the magic of the full moon in Aquarius in your art journal to illuminate the structures that need to dissolve so you can become your authentic self.

The Full Moon in Aquarius in August 2025 as An Air Sign
On Saturday, August 9, 2025 (in the mountain time zone) we greet the full moon in Aquarius.
This full moon in Aquarius might have your thoughts spinning in a million directions. Aquarius is an air sign which means it is intellectual, future-focused, and deeply connected to the invisible threads that bind us to our communities and ideas. But when the moon is full in this sign, the emotional waters within us can get stirred by all that mental activity.
If you find yourself feeling a little spacey, or like your nervous system is running too fast, that’s okay. This moon is shining a light on your relationship with the big picture. All those thoughts swirling around in your mind are probably contemplating your place in the web of people you serve, your dreams for the future of your work, and how you want to contribute to something meaningful in the world.
As a highly sensitive entrepreneur, you might feel the chaos of this time in your body before your mind can make sense of it.
The Full Moon as Illuminating What You Need to See
Right after the moon reaches her peak in the early morning hours on Saturday, August 9th in the mountain time zone, she immediately goes void of course and she stays that way for the rest of the day.
If you’re not familiar with what “void of course” means, it’s when the moon finishes having her last major conversation with another planet before she changes signs. During this in-between space, she’s not actively relating to any other planets nor is she in a sign of the zodiac. Instead, she’s kind of floating, untethered. I like to think of it as the moon going quiet for a little while. She’s done her work in the sign she’s in, and now she’s resting in the transition before arriving in new territory.
Energetically, that means there’s no strong forward momentum. It’s not an ideal time for initiating or setting powerful intentions and especially ones you want to carry out into the world. Plans made during a void of course moon often fizzle out or don’t land the way you hoped. I had a hard lesson with this a while ago when I tried to fill up my small group business program and it went nowhere. It fell totally flat and I couldn’t for the life of me figure out why because that was so unusual and the energy around it felt so strange but then I realized I set it to start during a void of course moon. Not a great time to start something because when the moon is void of course, things are said to not go anywhere.
The void of course moon is not a great time for launching, starting, or committing.
But that doesn’t mean the day is meaningless. Far from it. For me, this full moon feels less about taking action and more about illumination. I’m not using it to cast or claim. I’m using it to listen and learn. I’m asking the moon to help me see what I haven’t yet been able to see. I’m inviting Spirit to connect the dots. I think this will be especially helpful for me because my career point is in the sign of Aquarius and there is so much in transition for me in this area of my life and I could truly use some helpful illuminating.
Aquarius is such a visionary sign. It looks to the future, sees patterns others miss, and connects seemingly unrelated pieces into something meaningful. So rather than working with this moon to do, I’m working with it to notice. I want to sit with my journal and ask questions like:
What is trying to shift in the Aquarius parts of my chart?
What’s rising to the surface that I haven’t fully understood yet?
What does my spirit team want me to know about where I’m headed in this area of my life?
It’s a perfect full moon for divination, downloads, and insight. Pull some cards. Scribble dreams and symbols. Sit in stillness with your art journal open and your intuition turned up. This moon is asking you to pause and open to a bigger picture.
So if you feel like doing less this weekend, or if things feel floaty and a little unclear, know that’s not a failure. That’s the moon whispering: “Wait. Watch. Let something deeper or more future oriented be revealed.”
The Full Moon as Deconstruction
In ancient astrology, Saturn is the ruler of Aquarius, so any full moon in Aquarius will always carry Saturn’s influence. But right now, Saturn isn’t acting alone. Saturn is in a conversation with Uranus, the modern ruler of Aquarius, and their connection is stirring up a powerful opportunity to reset, rebuild, and realign with who you are becoming now.
As I stated, this might not be a full moon about big action or declarations but it is a full moon of illumination. One that helps us see clearly what needs to shift now.
Saturn in Pisces is gently but firmly asking, “What isn’t working anymore?”
Uranus in Gemini is responding, “Let’s rebuild it differently this time.”
Together, they’re inviting you into a deeper level of truth. Think of this full moon as a mirror. It might show you where structures are outdated. Where the way you’ve been doing something, such as how you’ve been doing things in your business, your relationships, your habits or daily routines, isn’t aligned with who you are now or with who you are becoming.
And let’s be honest, that can feel uncomfortable. Sometimes the things that once held us up such as the systems or relationships or routines that made us feel safe, start to feel like cages. And when that happens, Uranus says, “Break it down.” Not just for the sake of change, but to rebuild something that actually supports who you are now.
This might mean seeing clearly that a business model you’ve outgrown is no longer sustainable…
Or realizing a role you’ve been playing in someone else’s life is no longer healthy or true…
Or noticing a story you’ve been telling yourself about how success is supposed to look, or how fast it should happen is limiting your freedom.
This full moon helps you recognize what’s ready to dissolve so something more real and supportive can take its place.
And it’s not about throwing everything out or making a mess for the sake of drama. This is wise, soul-led reconstruction. It’s the kind of clarity that comes from asking yourself questions that my astrology teacher, Kelly Surtees, inspired like:
What structures in my life or business feel like they’re holding me back, not holding me up?
What would it look like to rebuild this area of my life in a way that reflects who I am today and not who I used to be?
Where am I still trying to build stability around something that’s no longer truly alive for me?
You don’t have to know all the answers yet. But this full moon is a beautiful time to ask the questions. To listen. To get curious. And to trust that sometimes, in order to move closer to freedom, authenticity, and deeper self-expression, something has to be broken down first.
If things feel like they’re unraveling a little, or if your inner world feels stirred up, try not to panic. You’re not breaking. You’re becoming. And this full moon is simply reflecting that back to you.
Let yourself be in the noticing. Let your journal become a place of divination. Ask Spirit to show you what’s ready to shift. Ask your wise inner self what needs to be restructured to support the life you’re trying to build now and not the one you outgrew.
Because that’s the gift of this full moon. It might come with fireworks and big breakthroughs or just subtle clarity. And sometimes, that’s all you need to set things moving in the direction you actually want to go.
The Full Moon in Aquarius in August 2025 Illuminating Big Shifts
During the time of this full moon, there is also an interesting kite formation between some planets, and this is kind of rare from what I can gather. Remember, I’m still in the early stages of my astrology studies so I’m always learning more but I think the way Saturn and Neptune in Aries is connecting with Uranus in Gemini and Pluto in Aquarius and Mars in Libra, suggests a lot of energy is gathering, and something is trying to take flight.
But this isn’t necessarily a gentle floating-upward kind of energy. It’s more like a powerful gust of wind lifting something into the air that’s maybe not quite ready, or not quite sure where it’s headed. You might feel that inside yourself. You might feel like you’re being pushed to move forward before you’ve had time to ground. That can feel disorienting, especially if you’re someone who needs to feel emotionally safe before taking bold action.
This moon reminds us to slow down and trust the timing of our unfolding.
There are a lot of big planetary shifts happening now. Pluto, Uranus, Neptune and Saturn are all having long conversations in the sky that won’t be over anytime soon. So if you’re feeling unsure, foggy, or like the future is hard to grasp right now, that’s not a sign you’re doing anything wrong. It’s actually a wise time to pause, reflect, and notice what’s changing. Let yourself experiment with new ideas but don’t feel like you have to lock anything in. You don’t have to pour the concrete. You can play in the sand, test what holds, and let Spirit guide your next steps.
In your business, depending on which astrological house the sign of Aquarius is on your birth chart, this might show up as shifting ideas about your offerings, your audience, or your long-term vision. You might have flashes of inspiration about new programs, structures, or ways of being seen. But you might also feel uncertain about how to act on them. That’s okay. Aquarius teaches us to be okay with holding the vision without rushing to make it real.
Sometimes your only job is to sit with the big, beautiful idea and let it stretch your sense of what’s possible without turning it into a to-do list just yet.
Finding Where You Belong
The full moon also stirs your desire to belong and to feel connected to a larger group of people who understand you and value what you bring. You might notice tender emotions rise around feeling misunderstood, out of place, or different from others in your field. Aquarius is often the outsider or the visionary ahead of their time so if you’re feeling like you don’t quite fit into conventional spaces, or like your way of doing things doesn’t match the usual rules, this moon is validating that. You’re not meant to do it like everyone else. You’re meant to do it the way only you can.
This is a beautiful full moon to reflect on the kind of community you want to build around your business. Not just for visibility or support, but for nourishment and for soul kinship.
Who are the people you want in your inner circle?
Who helps you feel seen and safe?
What does your dream business village look like?
In your art journal, you can play with this by drawing concentric circles of your community and placing names, qualities, or archetypes in each layer from your dearest supporters to the outer edges of your public audience. Let this be a spell of connection.
The Full Moon in Aquarius in August 2025 as Illumination
Because the moon is full, it’s also a time of culmination so something in you is reaching a moment of realization. This could be a project nearing completion, a new level of self-understanding, or even a release of an old way of thinking that no longer serves your business or your nervous system. If you feel aimless, like you know a change is coming but you don’t know what it is yet, trust that too. Sometimes we have to feel lost before we can be redirected.
Mars, Saturn, Pluto, and Uranus are all in conversation during this moon, which can stir up deep, hidden forces inside us. For sensitive souls, this might surface as anxiety, irritability, or even a sense of urgency that doesn’t quite make sense. If that shows up for you, tend to it gently. Ground into your body. Drink something warm. Paint in your journal. Name the feelings and let them have room.
The Power of Noticing
The most powerful thing you can do during this full moon is notice. Notice what’s shifting in the way you think about the future. Notice what you long for in your business. Notice who you want to be surrounded by. And most of all, notice the small truths that keep whispering to you beneath the noise. Those quiet truths are your North Star. They will guide you when everything else feels uncertain.
In your art ritual, create space for this noticing. I actually provided a whole section for us to work with the energy of this full moon in “The Creative Witch’s Monthly Guide to Growing Your Business with the Moon and Stars”. In it you paint a mind map of your buzzing thoughts in the warmup section. Then you color in your body figure to feel your feet on the earth. Next, you explore your circles of community to remember you are never alone in any of this. Finally, we cast a spell of connection.
We’re working with the magic of connection and the invisible threads that link us to the people we serve, the ones who love us, the ones we dream of meeting, and the ones we haven’t even imagined yet. Aquarius reminds us that we’re never truly alone.
We’re part of a bigger field of belonging, and when we see ourselves and our businesses as part of that web, something softens. Something strengthens.
In the art ritual I share in the guidebook this month, we’re creating a Spell of Connection. This art spell is a simple, visual prayer to draw in the support, community, and aligned relationships your heart and your business are ready for. You don’t need to be an artist. This isn’t about making something perfect. It’s about tending to the longing to feel connected and supported and for your business to have a community around it and letting the moon witness these intentions.
It’s the kind of spell you can return to again and again when you need to remember: you are not doing this alone, your work is part of a web, and your presence in it matters more than you know and you are calling to you the people who are aligned with your mission, your purpose and your highest self so don’t forget to check out the full moon section in the guidebook.
Whether you subscribe to the guidebook yet or not, let this full moon be a conversation between you and your future self. Between you and the one who already knows how to hold her vision, her people, and her path with clarity and grace.
And remember, you don’t have to have it all figured out. You’re not meant to. The full moon in Aquarius is a reminder that sometimes the best way to lead is to stay soft, stay curious, and let yourself be guided by something bigger and more beautiful than your mind can grasp.

Monday
The week kicks off with the first quarter moon in the sign of Sagittarius on Monday.
Have you ever woken up, taken a deep breath, and felt an invigorating zest for life? I get that feeling when I go camping and I step outside with my morning coffee. Well, today might just be one of those invigorating days, because the moon has entered the expansive sign of Sagittarius. Imagine the moon donning an archer’s bow ready to launch you into new adventures and horizons.
Sagittarius carries the expansive and benevolent energy of its ruling planet, Jupiter. This gives us a dose of optimism, humor, and a deep hunger for knowledge. Sagittarius doesn’t just want us to learn; it nudges us to experience — to dive head-first into the world, tasting its various flavors, and emerging wiser and more enriched.
It’s like being given a passport to travel emotional and spiritual terrains that you’ve hesitated to explore before. Being a fire sign, Sagittarius sparks our passion. It’s a sign that wears its heart on its sleeve, laughing a little louder and dreaming a bit bigger. But, true to its adventurous spirit, Sagittarius can sometimes get lost in all the possibilities, trying to chase every horizon, every dream.
Yes, the moon is in this optimistic and expansive sign but it is a first quarter moon so the moon is also having a tense relationship with the sun who is in the sign of Leo.
The first quarter moon phase is a time of tension and growth. It’s when the moon and the sun are in a square or in a 90-degree relationship which activates a kind of inner pressure. The moon is growing in light, but it’s not yet full. Something inside of us is stretching, asking us to move, to act or to take that courageous next step toward what we set in motion at the new moon.
There’s friction and it’s not always comfortable but it’s usually necessary for growth. It stirs the pot so you can see what’s really going on inside of you. It’s especially helpful to see the parts of you that want to move forward toward realizing your new moon intentions versus the parts of you that are scared or unsure.
When the sun is in Leo and the moon is in Sagittarius, the tension is between radiant self-expression (Leo) and the wild call of freedom, truth, and expansion (Sagittarius). Leo wants to shine, to be seen, to express itself fully and unapologetically. Sagittarius wants to stretch beyond limitations, to follow the fire of inspiration, to say, “There’s more to life than this.”
These signs are both fiery, but in different ways. Leo is more rooted in the heart because it’s personal, creative and centered around who you are whereas Sagittarius is more visionary. It wants to go further, often into the unknown.
So when these two energies square off, you might feel the tension between wanting to be true to yourself in a stable and recognizable way versus wanting to leap out of what’s familiar to chase something more meaningful or expansive. Maybe there’s a part of you that wants to stay centered and grounded in what you’ve already built, while another part of you is whispering, “It’s time for more.”
This is especially powerful for those of us who are sensitive creators and healers. If you’ve experienced childhood trauma or emotional neglect, this square can stir up some old stories such as:
Is it really safe to go after what I want?
Can I trust the fire in me?
Will people still love me if I shine this brightly or chase this dream?
The moon is asking us to listen to those questions with love, and then move forward anyway. Because this phase isn’t about figuring it all out. It’s about taking aligned action even when it’s messy or uncertain. Actually, especially then.
In your art journal, draw or paint a flame. It can be wild, messy, bright, small, large or however it wants to show up.
In or around that flame, write down the core truth or longing that’s pulling at you right now or the intention you set at the new moon.
Then, draw two figures or symbols:
One for the part of you that wants to keep things safe, small, or steady.
One for the part that’s ready to leap into something bigger, truer, or more you.
Let these parts have a dialogue.
What do they want to say to each other?
What do they agree on?
What do they disagree on?
Where can they meet in the middle?
You might even want to write this simple affirmation in your journal:
I can honor the fire in me without abandoning the part of me that’s scared.
Let this page be a spell for courage. A way of saying to yourself and the universe: I’m willing to keep going, even when it’s hard. Even when I don’t have all the answers. Because I know this is who I came here to be.
In your art journal, draw, paint or collage an image that represents the part of you that wants to keep things safe and small having a conversation with the part of you that is ready to leap into something bigger, truer or more you.
Tuesday
On Tuesday, the waxing gibbous moon enters Capricorn and right away she starts having some big conversations with other planets.
She’s opposite Venus in Cancer, and square to both Saturn and Neptune in Aries. And since the moon is growing toward fullness, this is a time when the emotional and energetic themes that have been building are becoming clearer, louder, and more illuminated.
The waxing gibbous moon in Capricorn is serious. She wants to get things done. She’s practical, strategic, focused on long-term goals. Capricorn moon energy can feel like a deep inner push to take responsibility for your dreams, commit to what matters, and be the grown-up in the room. But when the moon is opposite Venus in Cancer, our emotional bodies might be pulling in another direction.
Venus in Cancer wants softness. She wants tenderness, care, emotional connection, and nourishment. So we may feel torn between the urge to keep going, to push ahead, to “make it work” and the need to slow down, protect our energy, and tend to our hearts.
Add to that a tense relationships with Saturn and Neptune in Aries, and this day holds tension between reality and vision. Saturn in Aries wants structure and wisdom in our courage and risk taking. It wants us to be brave, but responsibly brave. Neptune in Aries dreams of new beginnings, soul-led movements, and the healing of warrior wounds but it can also cloud things with uncertainty or idealism.
It’s a lot. It can feel like there’s a part of you pushing to be productive and grown-up and strong… while another part of you is whispering that it’s all too much and maybe what you really need is a break, a cry, or a cuddle.
For those of us who’ve experienced childhood trauma or emotional neglect, this energy might feel especially triggering. Capricorn can stir up old patterns of emotional self-reliance and remind you of times when you had to be the strong one or the responsible one too early. And Venus in Cancer may bring up grief for the softness or emotional safety you didn’t receive when you needed it most.
So instead of pushing through, let’s pause and listen. This is a perfect day to work gently with the voices and emotional needs inside of you.
In your art journal, draw or paint a mountain symbolizing Capricorn’s steady climb and the part of you that’s working so hard to build something meaningful. Then draw a cottage or home at the base of the mountain. Let this represent Venus in Cancer and the part of you that wants to rest, feel, and be held. Around the mountain and the home, write down any pressures you’re feeling in your business or creative life right now. Then ask yourself:
Which of these are true, present-moment needs?
Which are old stories of “not enough” or “you have to do it alone”?
What would it feel like to climb this mountain at my own pace… while still making space to rest and feel safe along the way?
You might end the page with a gentle affirmation like:
I am allowed to go slow. I am allowed to be held. I can build something beautiful without abandoning my emotional needs.
This is a day to honor both the builder and your sensitive nature and the emotional and spiritual needs that come with it or to honor both structure and softness or action and rest. You don’t have to pick one over the other. You just have to let both exist, and find a rhythm that works good for you.
In your art journal, draw, paint or collage that represents the pressures you’re feeling in your business or your life lately.
Wednesday
On Wednesday, the waxing gibbous moon in Capricorn is opposing Jupiter.
Capricorn and Cancer are opposite signs on the zodiac wheel. In ancient astrology, oppositions were considered challenging, not because something is “bad,” but because it reflects tension or a pulling between two different needs.
The moon in Capricorn is practical, serious, and focused on the long game. She wants to get things done. She’s thinking about structure, responsibility, and staying grounded. She knows that building a dream takes commitment and time.
But Jupiter in Cancer? Jupiter wants to expand wherever he lands and in Cancer, he’s trying to expand emotional nourishment, safety, home, connection, and tenderness. Jupiter in Cancer reminds us that love is a source of abundance. That what grows us isn’t always effort or striving but care, softness, and a deep sense of being held.
So today’s energy might feel like a tug-of-war between working hard to hold it all together and surrendering into the arms of something more nurturing.
If you’ve lived through emotional neglect or grew up in a home where safety and care weren’t consistently available, this tension can bring up a lot. Maybe part of you believes that love must be earned through doing. Maybe you carry a quiet fear that if you stop pushing, everything will fall apart. And maybe there’s another part who is wiser, more healed and more whole that is starting to trust a new story.
A story where you are allowed to receive support. Where you are allowed to feel full. Where your business can grow not because you force it, but because it is deeply aligned with who you are and what you value.
As it interacts with Jupiter, the moon is reflecting all of this and it’s asking you:
What kind of success actually nourishes you?
What kind of growth feels good in your body?
What kind of work is truly sustainable for your nervous system, your dreams, and your spirit?
In your art journal today, try draw a mountain or a wise, old tree and an ocean. The mountain or tree is for Capricorn (structure, responsibility), the ocean for Cancer (feeling, softness, nourishment).
On one side of the page, write down what you’ve been trying to build in your business.
On the other side, write down what you’re craving emotionally or what would make this path feel more fulfilling, more loving, more like home.
In the middle of the page, draw a beam of light or a web or a gentle current connecting the two. Then imagine this is the space where structure and softness meet.
Let this be your reminder that you don’t have to choose between responsibility and receiving. The kind of business you’re building is rooted in healing, truth, and wholeness. That means it has to include you and your real needs, your body and your heart.
You can even include these affirmations on the page if it helps anchor your magic:
I am building something that nourishes me.
My success includes softness.
I am allowed to receive.
This moon is reflecting back the truth that you are worthy of a business that gives as much as it asks and one that holds you, as much as you hold others.
In your art journal, draw, paint or collage an image that represents receiving from your business or your relationships as much as you give.
Thursday
On Thursday, the waxing gibbous moon moves into the sign of Aquarius.
The moon is also having a close relationship with Pluto, a happy relationship with Uranus in Gemini, Mars in Libra and Saturn and Neptune in Aries.
Aquarius is about the future. It’s the part of us that wants to break free from outdated systems and carve our own path. It’s visionary. It’s the rebel and the reformer. But it’s also the wise observer and the part of you that can stand back and say, “This isn’t working for me anymore.”
With the moon snuggling up close to Pluto, we’re being invited to transform. Pluto digs deep. It brings what’s hidden to the surface. This can feel intense, especially for sensitive souls like us. But it’s also an incredible opportunity to shed something old like an outdated belief, a survival strategy or a role you’ve outgrown so something truer can take root.
Then we have a happy relationship to Uranus in Gemini which is a beautiful supportive energy. Uranus is the planet of awakening and breakthroughs. Uranus wants to help you become your unique, authentic self and help you break free from anything that holds you back from expressing who you really are and in Gemini, it’s awakening you and helping your break free through ideas, connections, and communication. This could be a great day to receive a download about your work or have an aha moment that clarifies something you’ve been wrestling with for a while.
At the same time, the moon is having a happy relationship with Saturn and Neptune in Aries, which brings together structure (Saturn) and vision (Neptune) in the sign of courage and initiation. It’s like the moon is reminding you:
You don’t need to have it all figured out. But if you can feel the dream in your heart and take one grounded, brave step today, that’s enough.
Finally, Mars in Libra adds a little extra fire to the mix. Mars gives us energy and drive. In Libra, it asks us to move with balance and to take action in a way that honors both our needs and the needs of others.
Put all of this together, and here’s what I think the moon might be saying to you today:
“You’re not who you used to be. You’ve changed. You’ve healed. You’ve grown. Now it’s time to let that transformation touch your business, your work, your art and your choices. Let go of what no longer reflects your truth. Trust your inner knowing and start building the next version of your life.”
In your art journal today, draw a door or a threshold or a gateway. On one side, write or draw the energies, stories, or beliefs you’re ready to leave behind or the things that no longer match who you are becoming.
On the other side, name what you want to move toward.
What kind of work do you want to do?
How do you want your business to feel?
What kind of leader or healer or artist are you becoming?
Let the space between the two sides be the threshold you are crossing so you can see who you were and who you are now becoming. You might even draw your future self reaching back to guide you forward.
In your art journal, draw, paint or collage an image that represents who you were compared to who you are now becoming.
Friday
On Friday, we’re still in the waxing gibbous phase, which is that part of the lunar cycle where we can feel the energy building toward something. It’s almost like we’re gathering ourselves for the leap that the full moon brings but today, there’s a gentle tension because the moon in Aquarius is sitting across the sky from Mercury retrograde in Leo, and it’s creating this moment of reflection or an opportunity to look at what’s happening inside us before we charge forward.
When the moon opposes another planet, it’s like a mirror is being held up. The moon is reflecting something back to us which is not always something we want to see but always something that wants to be understood.
With the moon in Aquarius, we’re being asked to look at ourselves with clear, honest eyes. Aquarius wants truth that liberates. It wants truth that says, “This is who I really am. These are the kinds of people I belong with and I’m ready to live from that place, even if it means letting go of the masks.”
Across the night sky, Mercury retrograde in Leo is asking us to revisit the way we communicate, the way we share ourselves, the way we express our heart’s truth. Leo energy is about visibility and about being seen. But when Mercury is retrograde here, it’s not about putting on a show. It’s about looking inward and asking, “Am I being honest about who I really am? Or am I performing a version of myself I think people want to see?”
Put together, this moon–Mercury conversation is like a crossroads:
One road is the safe, familiar version of you that maybe doesn’t rock the boat or draw too much attention.
The other is your soul’s truth or the part of you that knows you’re here to create, to heal, to speak something that matters.
This can feel especially tender for those of us who have a history of childhood trauma or emotional neglect. Because so often, we learned it wasn’t safe to speak or be fully seen. We learned to suppress and tone ourselves down, to shape-shift or to make ourselves smaller or more palatable.
But your soul is done with that now.
In your art journal today, this is a beautiful day to gently explore what wants to be reclaimed.
You might ask yourself:
What part of my voice feels quieted right now?
Where do I hold back in my business or creative work because I’m afraid of what others might think?
What truth about myself or my work am I finally ready to honor, even if it changes things?
What would I say if I wasn’t afraid of being misunderstood?
Let yourself play with imagery that explores visibility, identity, or inner truth. Maybe something symbolic that represents the you behind the mask or the version of you who’s tired of hiding and ready to share their voice again, but on their own terms.
This isn’t about performing. It’s about coming home to your own brilliance and not to impress others, but to feel at peace in your own skin.
And if there’s resistance, that’s okay. Gently notice it. Honor it. Your system might still be protecting you in ways that made sense once. But let this moon be a reminder that it’s safe now to trust yourself. You’ve done the work. You’re doing the work. And you’re ready to be seen for who you truly are.
Not with the masks.
Not just for the roles others expect you to play.
But you.
In your art journal, draw, paint or collage an image that represents feeling safe to be yourself in your business or your relationships.
Saturday
On Saturday, we greet the full moon in Aquarius.
This full moon in Aquarius might feel like your thoughts are spinning, your nervous system is stirred up, and you’re trying to see the big picture all at once. That’s the gift and challenge of Aquarius: it zooms way out and asks, How do you want to contribute to the future and your communities? What’s the future you’re trying to build?
But this moon is also void of course for the entire day after its peak, which makes it a good time to pause, notice, and ask Spirit to help you see what hasn’t yet been clear in your business, your calling, or your role in the collective?
The energies around this full moon are gently nudging you to reassess how you’ve been building your life and work. With Saturn and Uranus in the mix, who are the two rulers of Aquarius, both involved in supportive yet change-oriented energy, it’s a good time to notice what no longer fits and to imagine how things could be rebuilt in a way that feels more true. This might stir some discomfort, especially if the systems or identities you’re outgrowing once helped you feel safe. But growth often begins in that space where something is cracking open and asking for more alignment.
There’s also a rare kite formation forming in the sky, which can feel like a big gust of energy lifting something off the ground whether you’re ready or not. If you’re feeling stirred up or unsure about your direction, trust that. You don’t have to pour the concrete just yet. Let ideas float. Let visions stretch. Let change rise gently instead of rushing forward. You’re allowed to be in process. This full moon doesn’t need your action. It just wants your attention.
Because Aquarius is also about belonging, you might notice tender feelings around visibility, community, and being understood. If you’ve been feeling like an outsider or like your business doesn’t fit the mold, this moon affirms that you don’t need to. You’re here to create something visionary and that often means walking a different path. Let yourself reflect on the kind of support system and soul-aligned community you want to grow around you. You don’t have to do this alone and you’re allowed to want deep, nourishing connection as you create and share your work but maybe you have to fully own who you really are so you start attracting the kind of people who effortlessly make you feel like you belong.
In your art journal, let this full moon be a space of noticing. You might create a mind map of the thoughts swirling in your head or explore a layered spread with circles that represent your community and place words, archetypes, or intentions in each ring to symbolize the communities and groups of people you belong with or you want to belong with. You might pull a few oracle cards and reflect on what’s being illuminated. Most of all, ask yourself:
What am I ready to see now?
What am I being asked to rebuild?
And what kind of visionary am I becoming?
Sit in the questions. That’s where the magic begins.
In your art journal, paint, draw or collage an image that represents what is being illuminated for you under this full moon.
Sunday
On Sunday, the moon is still in the full moon phase as it moves into the sign of Pisces.
Pisces, a water sign, is known for its profound sensitivity, intuition, and connection to the unseen realms of emotion and spirituality. This energy is inherently calm and receptive, making it a time when we’re more open to the subtleties of our environment and the emotions and energies of those around us.
For highly sensitive people, this can feel like a double-edged sword. On one hand, it enhances your ability to empathize and connect deeply with others, tapping into a well of creativity and spiritual insight. On the other, it can lead to feeling overwhelmed by absorbing too much from your surroundings, whether it’s the mood of a crowd, the vibe of a place, or even the emotional states of the people you love.
The emotions and energy you unconsciously absorb affect your body and when you don’t process or release any of it, it can also be stored in your body.
Today is a good day to find creative ways in your art journal to filter and release the energies and emotions that don’t serve you or your body. This way you will preserve your emotional well-being while still embracing your natural empathy and intuition.
Here is an art journaling suggestion designed to help you cleanse unwanted energies and emotions.
Use water and watercolors to release and wash away.
Start by laying down colors that represent the emotions and energies you’ve absorbed. You probably won’t be conscious of everything you’ve absorbed so allow your intuition and creativity to guide you. Don’t focus on creating anything specific; let the colors flow and blend as they will.
Then, with a clean brush and clear water, go over the page, imagining the unwanted energies washing away, leaving you clean and refreshed.
By art journaling with the Pisces moon today, you can harness the deep, empathetic qualities of this moon day in a way that nurtures and protects your sensitive nature. Here are some other creative ways you can release, clear and let go in your art journal under this moon today.
- Collage for Release: Create a collage that represents the energies or emotions you wish to release. Cut out images and words from magazines that resonate with what you’ve absorbed and want to let go of. As you arrange and glue them onto your journal page, think of it as collecting all these unwanted elements from your system and trapping them on the page. Once you’re done, you might even cover them with a paint layer, symbolically sealing them away from you.
- Protective Symbols: Draw or paint symbols that represent protection or cleansing for you. This could be a traditional symbol, like an eye or a shield, or something personal that makes you feel safe. As you work on this, set the intention that these symbols will act as guardians, keeping away energies that are not in alignment with your highest good.
- Letter of Release: Write a letter in your journal to the universe, or to the energies themselves, stating your intention to release them. Detail how they’ve affected you and why you’re choosing to let them go. You can end with a gratitude note for any lessons learned. Then, over the letter, you might want to paint or draw, turning the page into a visual representation of your liberation from these energies.
- Nature Connection: Draw or paint elements of nature that you feel a strong connection to, such as the ocean, forests, or the night sky. Nature has a powerful cleansing and grounding effect, and by visualizing yourself in these environments, you can symbolize your own cleansing and grounding process. Imagine these natural elements absorbing and transforming the unwanted energies as you work.
For highly sensitive people, these practices offer a creative outlet for processing and releasing the intense influx of emotional and environmental energies experienced under the Pisces moon.
In your art journal, draw, paint or collage an image that represents what you are releasing, clearing or letting go.
