Art Journal with the Moon: Themes and Prompts for March 24-30, 2025

In this post, I share a summary of the moon for the week of March 24-30, 2025 as it moves through the zodiac and interacts with the planets. I also talk about working with the Aries new moon solar eclipse in your art journal to lead with your soul.

Leading With Soul

In this last week of March, we’re standing in a powerful in-between space. There’s a wave of endings and release followed almost immediately by the spark of new beginnings. If it feels emotional, foggy, or like your inner world is doing a deep reset, you’re not imagining it.

On Thursday, March 27, Venus retrograde moves back into Pisces, and on the same day, she meets up with Neptune. This is the planet of love, relationships, art and beauty holding hands with the planet of dreams, spirituality, illusions, and soul-level surrender.

This energy is not about charging ahead. It’s about letting go.

You might feel like walking away from something, stepping back from old habits, letting go of thoughts or emotional patterns that no longer serve you, or simply needing rest and quiet to process all that’s been stirred up.

This is Pisces energy at its most mystical and emotional asking you to trust, soften, and not force clarity. It’s a time to allow space, to grieve what’s shifting, and to lovingly release what you don’t want to carry forward.

Then, as we move into the 29th and 30th, the energy pivots. On Saturday, March 29th, we greet a powerful new moon solar eclipse in Aries. This is a moment of intense rebirth. But it’s not a clean slate kind of new beginning. It’s an eclipse, so it carries unpredictable, chaotic energy and the kind of fresh start that only comes after something ends. This is because this is the last eclipse in the Aries part of your birth chart for many years.

It’s not about rushing forward here. It’s about honoring what’s been, feeling what still needs closure, and stepping into a new pattern in the Aries part of your chart with intention. You may still be wrapping things up, even as the spark of new motivation starts to rise.

Then on March 30, Neptune enters Aries and this is BIG.

Neptune has been in Pisces for over a decade, and now it begins a new, long journey through Aries, where it will start to reshape how we act on our dreams, how we express spiritual courage, and how we lead with soul.

It’s like a gentle but unmistakable spiritual mist is moving over the Aries parts of your life, asking:

What needs to be inspired here?

What needs to be softened or reimagined?

How do you want to lead with soul here?

Healing and Your Leadership

If you’re a highly sensitive entrepreneur, this week’s astrology is speaking directly to your healing and your leadership because the truth is, those two things are deeply connected. You’re being invited into a new way of leading.

Aries rules a specific part of your birth chart, and in that area of your life, you’re being asked to lead with your soul. But to do that, there’s something important that must come first: you have to know who’s currently leading the way inside of you.

When you’re growing your business or trying to achieve a goal in your business or complete a new creative project and you feel internal resistance, such as when you procrastinate, stay quiet, play small, or avoid being seen, it’s usually not because you’re lazy or unmotivated. It’s because a part of you is leading.

It might be a younger part of you who still remembers how unsafe it felt to be visible. It might be an ancestral part of you who carries fear or scarcity. It might be a part shaped by past-life wounds. But this is the thing I hope you understand and remember about your bright, shining soul. It is wise and loving. It is so wise and so love that it will NEVER override your inner parts even when you actually don’t like where your inner parts are leading you.

Your beautiful, wise soul will never push or force any of your inner parts out of the way. Your soul is infinitely patient, waiting for you to do the inner tending.

The inner tending is your sacred work, my dear. It is where you exercise your free will. You are the only one who can choose to notice when a part is in the lead, pause, and gently ask: What do you need so my soul can lead again?

To lead with your soul in the Aries part of your chart means to show up with courage, clarity, and trust. But true courage isn’t pushing through the fear. It’s pausing, turning inward, and listening deeply to what’s really going on inside.

The astrology of this week is helping you clear space – emotionally and energetically – so your soul has room to rise and lead. You are being asked to surrender the inner resistance that’s been running the show. You are being invited to meet the parts of you who are afraid of success, afraid of growth, afraid of being seen. Not to silence them, but to tend to them until they feel safe enough to soften and step aside.

Take time in your art journal to explore what part of your life Aries rules, and ask yourself:

What does it mean for me to lead with soul here?

What part(s) of me resists leading with my soul here?

What part of me doesn’t feel safe being seen as a leader here?

What do I need to release so I can lead with my soul here with clarity and power?

Use your creativity to talk to those inner parts, to hold space for them, and to open the door for your soul to step forward—not in a rush, not with pressure, but with reverence. This is how you open the flow. This is how you say yes to the version of your business and your life that your soul is ready to co-create with you.

Where Resistance is Showing Up for Me Lately

This past week, I felt a lot of inner resistance but not in the usual ways we tend to talk about it. It didn’t show up as procrastination or perfectionism or a harsh inner critic. It showed up in my body. My legs and hips were inflamed and painful. I felt fatigue and mental fog. My mast cells were in full flare-up, which is how resistance often speaks to me – through my body. For those of us who are highly sensitive and who carry a history of trauma or emotional neglect, resistance can be quiet and hidden, but it’s never absent. And for me, the more I tried to move forward in my business, the more my body said, “Wait.”

When I got quiet and turned inward with curiosity, what I saw was a constellation of parts. Some are younger versions of me who are afraid of being seen, afraid of being rejected, afraid of both failing and succeeding. These parts love when I’m safe and quiet in my art room, just painting for myself. But the moment I want to share my art or my ideas with the world, they panic.

Then there are the ancestral parts. These are particularly from the women in my lineage on both sides who carry generations of oppression, silence, and fear of stepping outside the lines. These parts believe I’m being irresponsible, impractical. They have strong opinions about what is worthy of my time and effort, and my magical, creative dreams do not fit into their version of a life lived as it is supposed to be lived. They carry harsh, judgmental and bossy energy because they carry centuries of survival logic rooted in patriarchal French Catholic oppression. For a woman to survive and thrive in the culture my ancestors did, she had to give up a lot of herself and her dreams.

All month, these parts have been especially loud, because I’ve been working on something new. I’m creating a monthly guidebook called “The Creative Witch’s Monthly Guide Growing Your Business with the Moon and Stars” and I’m so excited to share it with you soon but it wasn’t the project I thought I’d be launching this year. I thought I would launch my more formal book but apparently, this project felt safer to my inner world than the formal book I’ve been trying to finish for six years. My more formal book, for whatever reason, activated so much inner resistance I couldn’t even reach it. I couldn’t connect with the parts holding the block. The resistance was buried too deep. I could feel the block, but I couldn’t work through it. The healing wasn’t accessible yet.

But this guidebook? It opened a door. My inner parts are still scared, but they’re willing to speak. And because of that, I’ve been able to sit with them, tend to them, and gently keep going. It’s slow. It’s painful at times. But it’s moving. And if there’s anything I would want to say to any of you who are navigating blocks or resistance in your business, it’s this: don’t give up. Just because it’s hard, doesn’t mean you’re not meant for it. Sometimes it’s not about pushing through, it’s about finding a softer path that your inner parts can actually walk with you. Take the next step they are ready to take, even if it’s not the step you wanted to take yet.

Being a highly sensitive entrepreneur with a soul calling asks a lot from you. When you carry trauma or sensitive ancestral stories, you’re not just doing business. You’re doing deep, sacred healing work. And that’s why this journey takes time. That’s why it matters. You learn how to care for yourself in a way you were never taught. You learn how to make space for all of you, including the parts that feel too tender or too scared. Many years ago, Divine Mother has taught me what it means to lead with love, and this is what it looks like: going at the pace your smallest, weakest, most frightened part needs you to go. Trusting your body. Trusting your limits. Trusting that rewriting these old stories is not just for you, it’s for the ones who came before you too.

And that, to me, is sacred work. That is leading with your soul.

Working with the Eclipse in Your Art Journal

For this new moon solar eclipse in Aries, I invite you to create a two-page spread in your art journal.

  • One page to honor what you’re letting go of
  • One to begin sketching the new pattern you’re ready to live into.

This isn’t about making a perfect page. This is about witnessing your inner world with honesty and compassion.

On the first page, take some time to gently explore what’s been holding you back.

What old story has been leading your life?

What inner part has been protecting you by keeping you hidden, small, or unsure?

What thoughts, beliefs, or ways of being are no longer aligned with who you are becoming?

This page is about acknowledging what’s been living in you that you are now lovingly tending to or releasing. Not because it was wrong or bad but because it’s time. It’s safe to let go. You’re allowed to change.

On the second page, begin sketching the new pattern your soul is asking you to live into. This isn’t about having it all figured out. This is about tuning in to the energy of your soul and letting it whisper what it’s ready to create through you.

What would it feel like to lead your business and your life from your soul instead of your fears or younger parts?

What new belief, truth, or energy do you want to invite in?

What does your soul say about who you really are and how you’re meant to show up now?

Let this page be a beginning. Let this page hold the energy of hope, clarity, and your inner “YES.” Even if it’s quiet or tentative, let it be true. Let it be YOU. Your soul knows the way.

This eclipse is here to help you step into a new chapter with courage, grace, and devotion to the work, art, healing and life that is truly yours.

How I Can Support You

If you’re a highly sensitive entrepreneur like me, and you’re feeling the call to step into soul-led leadership but keep bumping into inner resistance, fear, or self-doubt, I want you to know that you don’t have to move through it alone.

This eclipse energy is powerful, but it can also stir up everything that’s been quietly standing in your way. That’s where the deeper healing comes in.

In a BUSINESS ALIGNMENT SESSION, we work with your astrology to understand what your soul is here to express, and we use the MAP Method to gently release the subconscious blocks that keep you from shining your light and growing your business with confidence.

If you’re ready to stop letting resistance run the show and start letting your soul lead the way, I’d love to support you. Book a BUSINESS ALIGNMENT session with me this week and let’s move through what’s been holding you back so you can finally feel safe, clear, and empowered to create the business or art your soul came here to lead with.

Book Your Session Here

If you’re not an entrepreneur but would like to clear blocks and receive intuitive guidance, you can book an Intuitive Support Session here instead and this week, I can include the BONUS astrology reading for you as well.

Monday

The week kicks off with the moon moving into the sign of Aquarius on Monday.

Aquarius, an air sign, is often associated with innovation, intellect, and a forward-thinking approach. Emotionally, the Moon in Aquarius encourages a more detached and objective view of our feelings. It’s less about getting swept up in emotional tides and more about understanding emotions from a rational perspective.

Spiritually, the Moon in Aquarius opens up avenues for unconventional and progressive spiritual insights. This is a time when you might find yourself drawn to new or unconventional spiritual practices or philosophies. It’s an excellent period for engaging with community or group activities that have a spiritual theme, as Aquarius values collaboration and social reform, especially reform that aims to relieve suffering and improve the quality of life for people. The moon is Aquarius is driven by a sense of compassion and a desire to help others. It is committed to the principles of human dignity, equality, and respect for all individuals.

It’s a good day to explore how your personal spiritual journey can contribute to the collective well-being. It’s also a great time for envisioning new possibilities, not just for yourself but for the wider community.

How is your personal growth intertwined with the betterment of us all?

In your art journal, draw, paint or collage an image that represents a new possibility you’re imagining for the world or your community.

Tuesday

On Tuesday, the balsamic moon is in Aquarius and having a happy relationship with Jupiter.

Jupiter wants to bring harmony, well-being, kindness, justice, abundance, growth, expansion, good luck and balance to your life. The moon is supporting Jupiter’s desire to do this in your life today.

The moon is the queen of the night. She wants to illuminate the darkness, bring about change, be a mirror to reflect us back to ourselves and awaken our receptive and intuitive powers. She represents your body and emotions and reminds you that life is an ever-changing cycle of birth, death, decay and rebirth. She wants to bring kindness, nurturing, novelty and adaptability.

Together, the moon and Jupiter are shining more peace into our lives today. They’re helping us feel open-hearted and generous. They’re supporting us in focusing on what connects us to each other and what brings us together. It’s energy that helps us feel calm and safe and willing to see and receive the goodness other people want to share with us. It’s energy that reminds us what’s good in our life.

One of the best ways to work with this energy is to drop into your heart and choose something in your life to feel grateful for.

Choose that one thing now and focus on it for a moment until you notice a calming, an opening or a small shift in your heart center.

In your art journal, draw, paint or collage an image that represents a your heart opening to receive more goodness and love into your life during the next lunar cycle.

Wednesday

On Wednesday, the moon moves into the sign of Pisces.

When the moon is in Pisces, it’s a beautiful reminder of the gifts that come from being a highly sensitive, intuitive person.

Pisces represents the boundless, flowing nature of emotions and intuition. It’s like a deep, mystical sea that holds wisdom beyond words. This is the energy that encourages you to fully embrace your sensitivity, creativity, and empathy, honoring these qualities as true strengths. Sensitivity is what allows you to pick up on subtle energies, feel deeply, and connect with people and nature in a profound way.

With the moon in Pisces, you’re being invited to see your sensitivity as a bridge to your intuition and creative self. Think of the ways your sensitivity allows you to understand others without words, to feel emotions in deep and profound ways, and to find inspiration in the little things. These qualities connect you to something greater whether it’s a sense of universal love, an appreciation of beauty, or an understanding of emotions others might overlook. This moon encourages you to recognize the magic in these gifts.

In your art journal, use this time to celebrate these strengths. Create a page that captures what you love most about your sensitivity, your intuition or your creativity.

You might start by reflecting on times when these qualities have led you to insights, deeper connections, or creative breakthroughs. Use soft, flowing colors or images that represent fluidity, depth, and intuition. You could add words or symbols that remind you of your intuitive wisdom, or even draw or paint images of things that inspire your creativity. Let this be a page of appreciation for who you truly are and a reminder that your sensitivity isn’t just a trait; it’s a powerful gift that connects you to the world in ways others might not experience.

In your art journal, draw, paint or collage an image that celebrates what you love about your sensitivity, your intuition or your creativity.

Thursday

The balsamic moon in Pisces is having a tense relationship with Jupiter today.

The balsamic moon in Pisces is soft, dreamy, and draws you inward. It’s a time to slow down, rest, and listen to the quiet wisdom within you. This is the final phase of the moon before the new moon, and it carries the energy of closure, reflection, and emotional release.

With the moon in Pisces, your sensitivity may feel heightened. You might feel more intuitive, emotional, or even a little overwhelmed by everything you’ve been holding. When the moon forms a square to Jupiter, there’s a bit of tension between your inner emotional world and a bigger energy that wants to expand and move forward. You might feel pressure to figure everything out or do something big but this isn’t the time to push. It’s a time to trust that clarity and movement will come, but right now, it’s okay to not know. It’s okay to simply be with yourself.

In your art journal, I invite you to explore this question:

What am I ready to surrender so my spirit can feel light and open again?

Let this page be a gentle space to release anything that feels heavy or no longer needed. Release thoughts, beliefs, expectations, or emotions you’ve outgrown. You don’t have to fix anything here. Just offer it to the page, as an act of trust. The new beginning is coming, and for now, your only job is to make space for it.

In your art journal, draw, paint or collage an image that releases any heaviness you are carrying.

Friday

On Friday, the balsamic moon moves into the sign of Aries as it has a lot of relationships with other planets.

As the moon moves through the very last phase of its cycle, the balsamic moon, and it enters Aries, many planets are gathered around the cusp between Pisces and Aries. There’s a lot of energy swirling here, and the moon is touching several of these planets throughout the day, which makes everything feel a little more heightened and emotionally rich.

Spiritually, it’s like standing at a threshold with one foot still in the past and the other stepping into something new. There’s an energy of endings and completions. Old thoughts, stories, or patterns reaching their natural close and at the very same time, there’s a quiet but powerful pulse of new beginnings just starting to stir beneath the surface. It might feel emotional, tender, or even confusing. It might feel like you’re shedding an old skin but don’t yet know what the new one looks like. That’s okay.

This is a sacred in-between space, and the moon is reflecting down to us the wisdom that both things can be true at once. You can be grieving and hopeful, tired and ready, releasing and beginning all at the same time.

In your art journal, I invite you to explore this question:

What is being stirred in me right now as one chapter ends and another quietly begins?

Let yourself feel into the space between endings and beginnings.

What are you letting go of?

What are you still carrying?

What new spark is trying to be born in you?

Use your page to capture the complexity of this moment, not to resolve it, but simply to witness it. This is how we honor the space between what was and what’s becoming.

In your art journal, draw, paint or collage an image that represents the sacred in-between space.

Saturday

On Saturday, we greet the Aries new moon solar eclipse.

The Aries new moon solar eclipse is a powerful moment of beginnings, but not the kind that come with a clean slate or all the answers. This is a new beginning that arrives only after something meaningful has ended or shifted. It carries the energy of deep change and of a pattern ending so something new and more aligned can take its place.

And because it’s an eclipse, this shift might feel fated, like something your soul has been preparing you for even if your mind doesn’t fully understand it yet. Aries is the sign of action, courage, and self-leadership, so this eclipse is asking you to step into a new way of showing up in the Aries part of your life. But before you can do that, you have to let go of what’s been holding you back, especially the inner resistance that comes from old fears, outdated patterns, or younger parts of you who didn’t yet feel safe to grow or be seen.

As I described earlier, in your art journal, you can work with this eclipse energy by creating a two-page spread.

On one page, give yourself space to honor what you’re letting go of. Let yourself be honest.

What thoughts, stories, habits, or emotional patterns are no longer serving you?

What have you outgrown?

This page is a sacred release.

Then on the second page, begin to sketch the new pattern your soul is ready to live into.

What is your soul asking for now?

What does leadership look like when it comes from your truest self and not from fear, not from urgency, but from deep inner knowing?

You don’t have to have all the answers. This page is about planting seeds, about opening to the next chapter with trust. Let it be a quiet but clear “YES” to the life you’re ready to lead.

In your art journal, draw, paint or collage images that represent a sacred release then another page that represents how you want to lead with your soul.

Sunday

On Sunday, the moon moves into the sign of Taurus.

The moon in the sign of Taurus brings grounding and comfort which is a nice release after the eclipse. Taurus is ruled by the planet Venus, so the moon is drawing down a little of that planet’s magic as well.

Taurus, an earth sign, is known for its connection to the physical senses, stability, and a deep appreciation for the beauty of the natural world. The emotional and spiritual properties of the moon in Taurus are all about nurturing a sense of peace, security, and well-being in our inner lives. It encourages us to find harmony in simplicity, urging us to connect with the earth and the rhythm of nature as sources of healing and rejuvenation.

For highly sensitive entrepreneurs, the Taurus moon offers a reminder to slow down, allowing you to breathe more deeply and connect with the steady beat of your own heart. The moon in Taurus supports you by grounding your dreams in reality, encouraging patience and persistence. The energy of Taurus reminds you that great creations take time to manifest and that the journey is as important as the destination.

The moon in Taurus helps to steady self-doubt, anxiety or a harsh inner critic, offering a solid foundation from which to approach your creative work. It’s an invitation to indulge in self-care, to nurture your body and spirit, and to seek out environments that replenish your energy so that you can return to work on your creative dreams feeling refreshed, inspired and positive.

While the moon is in the sign of Taurus, you might find it especially beneficial to connect with nature in your art journal

It’s a good time to embrace the slow and steady path, to trust in the process, and to remember that your sensitivity is a gift that enriches your creative or business dreams, offering depth and insight that are truly unique.

In your art journal, draw, paint or collage an image that celebrates nature and feeling grounded.

with love,
